FAQs

General Candle Safety Instructions:

Do not burn unattended.
Remove all crystals and flowers before burning.
Keep away from flammable items such as drapes and plants.
Keep away from children and pets.
Burn only on a heat resistant surface.
Stop use of the candle when 1/2" of wax remains, as it is possible that the glass may shatter.
Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" at all times for best results.
Absolutely do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours.
Keep out of drafts.
Never touch the inside or outside of a lit or freshly extinguished candle, the glass gets very hot.

Tips for Burning Our Wooden Wicked Crystal Candles:

*Remove all crystals before lighting your candle or use a pair of tongs to remove crystals after the candle has finished burning.
*Burn any container-less candles on a fire proof surface.
*Hold candle at an angle when lighting; contact wick with flame for at least 5-10 seconds. Do this if you're having issues with the wick catching fire.
*Bic wand lighters or USB lighters work best.
*Upon first lighting, allow wax melt pool to reach edge of glass before extinguishing to prevent tunneling.
*Before each use, trim excess burnt wood on wick to 1/8-1/4” for optimal functioning, excess ash on the wick makes it hard to light the candle and the flame may get very low.

What should I do if my product arrives damaged?

If your item is damaged in transit, please follow this process. Contact us as soon as possible. If you would like a replacement, you must keep the damaged product and all of the packaging it came in. An insurance claim will be submitted to USPS and you will need to report to a USPS location with your damaged product and packaging so that they can verify that the damage occurred during shipment. When the claim is approved, a replacement will be sent. If you're unwilling to follow this process, then your product is unable to be replaced. Thank you for understanding.

What should I do if I want to change my shipping address?

Please be sure to triple check the address you enter when you place your order. Your address can only be changed if you contact us within 2 hours of your purchase that the address was incorrect. Faerieworks of New England is not responsible for packages arriving to the wrong address. If you would like your package to be redelivered, you'll be responsible for the additional shipping cost and the product cost if the package is not returned.

Can I have my package shipped to my work address?

It is not recommend that you ship your packages to any destination other than your personal residential address or P.O. box. Do so at your own risk. If your package is not delivered and gets returned, you will be responsible for the additional shipping cost to redeliver it to you.

Will I be receiving the exact candle pictured if I order?

Most candles are made to order and no two candles will ever be exactly the same. They’re beautifully unique! That being said, each kind of candle will always have the same ingredients, herbs, flowers, and crystals included. The variations in the placement, size, and color of these components ensures that each candle has its own special kind of magic while still promoting its primary Intention. However, some of the larger and more ornate candles are one-off pieces. If you decide to purchase one of those, you’ll be receiving the exact candle pictured.
